2017 Lipsense Review

So what is this Lipsense everyone is talking about? I have tried this product and wanted to share my thoughts on this special lipstick that supposedly doesn't come off.

Who am I? I am a new mom of a boy and also a furbaby mom who loves girly things and working out! I live in Vancouver, BC and love the beach! Ive never really been a fan of lipstick because half the time its all over my coffee mug, my baby, my husband and there's been embarrassing times my lipstick has worn out and is only on the edges of my mouth.... ugh. When I tried Lipsense by Senegence, it was a game changer!

Here is my review for those ladies who are interested in trying the product or interested in becoming a lipsense rep...

Transferproof? YES! omg. How did I not have this for my Cancun wedding last winter? As soon as you put the special gloss over the colour, it does not come off on any coffee cup, wine glass, or your hubby/babies. This seriously amazes me.

Smudgeproof? YES! You can literally rub your finger across your lips and this stuff will not budge!

Kissproof? YES! Brides and bridesmaids... Lipsense is a must.

Waterproof? YES! Tested this out with a bright red in the colour Flygirl and no, it did not come off in the pool. I would say this is perfect for those summer pool and beach days.

Does is really last 4-18hrs? Yes! In the first couple weeks, my lipsense lasted about 5-8 hours without reapplying. This stuff works to exfoliate the dead skin cells off your lips so the lip colour can bond to new skin and last longer. The longer you use lipsense, the longer it will stay on you. After about a month, my lipsense lasted about 8-12 hours without needing a touch up. Its pretty awsome.

How many colours are there? There are now 36 colours and a few limited edition colours. Since lipsense is worn in 3 layers, you can combine and layer colours to create a new look. I love the nudes, beiges, pinks, and neutrals but sometimes Ill go for a nice bold red or berry.

SO WHY DO YOU NEED INSTRUCTIONS TO WEAR LIPSENSE?

This isnt your regular lipstick. Lipsense is made to molecularly bond to your skin so getting the prefect application will help it last longer. Heres a video on how to apply:

Overall, I would say Lipsense is worth trying. Its an amazing product that will blow your mind when you see your red lipstick not transfer to your coffee mug.
